| The company singed a contract with two reputed international firms to supply a Calcium Chloride production unit in Sohar |

| We are pleased to advise that the company has singed a contract on Dec 21 with two reputed international firms for supplying a Calcium Chloride production unit to our plant in Sohar.
The total value of the project will be USD 7.266 Millions and the unit is expected to commence production in Q1 , 2011. The project will be funded on a 30/70% equity/ debt ratio, The loan was sanctioned by one of the leading local banks.
The unit will help to diversify our products range and source of revenues and will ensure the maximum utilisation of the plants capacity.
