| Unaudited financial result for the nine months period ended Sep 2009 |

| Oman Chlorine management is pleased to announce the unaudited financial result for the nine months period ended Sep 2009. The company posted a net profit of RO 1.768 Million for the nine months period ended September 2009 as compared to RO 2.149 Million for the nine months period ended Sep 2008. The profit for the 9 months period ended September 2009 was lower by 17.73% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
The Board also approved adding Calcium Chloride production unit at the existing plant in Sohar at a cost of RO 2.80 Million. The project was approved after technical, financial studies and getting all the required environmental approvals. The project is expected to start commercial production during 1st quarter of 2011.
The Board of Directors assures the shareholders their continued efforts towards achieving improved results in the coming periods subject to market conditions and the level of activities in the oilfield services sector.
